The fellowship position for 2026-2027 has been filled.

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine offers a one-year Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship under the direction of Juan Miguel Mosquera, M.D.. This training program offers both major exposure to genitourinary tumor pathology and a comprehensive translational research component. The Fellow has the opportunity to evaluate about 2,500 tumor specimens from the kidney, urinary bladder, prostate, and testis. The Fellow acts as the primary consultant for the Division of Genitourinary Pathology and actively participates in interdepartmental conferences related to genitourinary oncology. In addition to a complete diagnostic experience, the Fellow has the opportunity to engage in clinical and translational research projects. A departmentally funded Translational Research Core Facility offers a wide array of research services, including histology, immunohistochemistry, tissue array, cytogenetics, and molecular techniques, thus providing the opportunity to participate in clinically relevant and scientifically sophisticated studies.
