The Weill Cornell Medicine Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking an academic gynecologic and perinatal pathologist for full-time appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank to join the current gynecologic and perinatal pathology team headed by Dr. Anna Yemelyanova. The service handles over 20,000 gynecologic and perinatal specimens. The program offers a Gynecologic and Perinatal Pathology fellowship, along with abundant opportunities for clinical, educational, and research activities.
The Gynecologic and Perinatal Pathology Division has 5 FTE pathologists and supports an active outreach service as well as a busy gynecologic oncology research program in the Meyer Cancer Center, and a growing obstetric service (approximately 8900 deliveries per year).
On site Immunopathology and Molecular Pathology Laboratories provide state-of-the-art ancillary diagnostic services, and a dedicated translational research laboratory supports academic research for pathology faculty.
The successful candidate will possess the strong diagnostic skills needed for a busy gynecologic and perinatal pathology service. Subspeciality training in gynecologic pathology is preferred. A strong commitment towards advancement of knowledge in the field through research and education is equally important. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring medical students, pathology residents and subspecialty fellows. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology is required as is eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of New York. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with level of experience and scholarly accomplishments.

Professor Salary: $297,615-393,944
