The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine offers a one-year ACGME-approved Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship. The fellowship training program focuses on the application of molecular techniques to the diagnosis of cancer (including hematologic and solid tumor malignancies), inherited disorders, and infectious diseases. It is designed to educate fellows in the practice of molecular pathology, including laboratory management, test development and clinical consultation. The program emphasizes a multidisciplinary team approach to patient management as well as clinical and translational research opportunities.
