Abstract | Though included in the differential diagnosis of jaundice and abdominal pain, acute acalculous cholecystitis is an uncommon hepatobiliary complication of bone marrow transplantation. Leukemic infiltration of the gallbladder presenting as acute cholecystitis is rare. We describe two cases of acute cholecystitis following marrow transplantation that represented an unexpected relapse with leukemic infiltration of the gallbladder wall. |
