Abstract | The breast is host to a spectrum of benign and malignant diseases. Medical advances during the last few decades have changed and refined the diagnosis of breast diseases considerably, and their treatment has become increasingly sophisticated. These changes have changed the relationship between pathologists and clinicians: Close collaboration has become even more essential for optimal patient care. |
