Tutorial on Neoplastic Hematopathology

The Tutorial on Neoplastic Hematopathology is designed to update physicians on the latest advances in Neoplastic Hematopathology. It will be conducted under the direction of Daniel M. Knowles, MD at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, FL from January 21-25, 2019. The program will consist of lectures, case presentations and discussions designed to provide pathologists, pathologists-in-training and medical oncologists/hematologists with an in-depth discussion of diagnostic problems that arise in neoplastic hematopathology. In addition to discussions of recent advances in the morphologic classification of hematopoietic tumors, the application and interpretation of immunological and cytochemical studies and molecular techniques in the diagnosis and classification of these diseases will be presented. Instruction will occur in the form of lectures, case presentations, and panel discussions. Each registrant will receive comprehensive course materials.

Tutorial on Neoplastic Hematopathology

The Tutorial consists of five days of lectures, case presentations and discussions. It will be held at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, 475 Seagate Drive, Naples, FL 34103, United States Phone: (239)-227-2182;  http://www.naplesgrande.com/

Tuition

The registration fee is $1,350, which includes the Tutorial, online course materials, daily continental breakfasts, coffee breaks and a reception. The fee does not include travel, housing or other meals. Registration post-marked after December 28, 2018 is $1,450.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. When paying by check, it must be in U.S. currency and drawn on a U.S. Bank, made payable to the WCMC/Pathology Dept. International participants can contact us directly for our wire transfer information. When registering, please be sure to use a complete mailing address. The address with which you register will be printed on the master list of registrants.

Course Materials

Please note, we will no longer offer hard copies or flash drives of the course materials. All course materials containing the presenters' slide presentations, handouts, references, and supplementary articles will be available for download online prior to the course. Additionally, you may opt to view the materials online during the course using your electronic device. WiFi will be provided in the ballroom at no additional charge.

Confirmation/ Seating

A written confirmation will be sent to all registrants. Early registration is recommended. Seating at the program is on a first come first serve basis and will be assigned based on registration date. The seat assigned remains yours throughout the course.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, the Tutorial fee is refundable less a $150 service charge. A front and back copy of your cancelled check must be submitted for a refund. After January 4, 2019, no refunds will be possible and no exceptions of any kind can be honored.

Continuing Medical Education

Weill Cornell Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

Weill Cornell Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 36.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Continuing Certification

This activity meets the American Board of Pathology’s Continuing Certification (CC) Program* requirements for Lifelong Learning (Part II) and Self-Assessment Module (SAM) and designates this educational activity for a maximum of 20 SAM Credit(s).

A continental-style breakfast will be available from 7 a.m. in the foyer outside the Grand Ballroom where the Tutorial sessions will be held. The use of cell phones or video/audio recording during the lectures is prohibited.

Accommodations have been reserved for Tutorial participants at Naples Grande Beach Resort. Note that a one-night deposit is required. Participants may make reservations by clicking here.
