We are delighted to announce that the New York City Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will be honoring Dr. Selina Chen-Kiang at the 2nd Annual Crimson Ball on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at The Mandarin Oriental in New York City. LLS and their mission to find better treatments and a cure for blood cancer is a cause that is highly important to Dr. Chen-Kiang. For over 20 years she has worked tirelessly with LLS and the NYC Chapter as a Board member, advocate and researcher.
A renowned professor of pathology and laboratory medicine, and immunology at Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Chen-Kiang has received multiple LLS grants over the past two decades, enabling her seminal work on a therapy that targets enzymes that play vital roles in cell division and are implicated in multiple cancers.
